Must be! I wish I knew which hen that was but I don't hatch those out anymore since penning up the fancy ones. Hopefully, yours is a hen.Yes it is a silkie. I noticed that but didn't think anything about it. Maybe some recessive genes showing up?
I wish some one still made trap nests so that eggs could be assigned to a hen and then the chicks assigned to a hen. If only one rooster was with the hens it would be a lot easier to find breeders with those recessive genes.Must be!
