Hey all I am looking for an old fashioned deviled egg receipe...Please not with all the fancy garanishes. The eggs I remember eating were just yellow with a little red stuff sprinkled on them and not sweet. Thanks all ^^

The easiest way I know is to mix the cooked yolks with some mayonnaise, yellow mustard, salt, pepper, and just a little vinegar to give the filling a tang, like a half teaspoon of the vinegar. Fill the cooked white halves and sprinkle paprika on top. Plain deviled eggs can be yummy too!

I will look up the recipe, I know I have the old fashion, betty crocker one somewhere! Lol the red stuff is paprika and I know there is mustard mixed in the yolk... can't remember if it ground mustard though or prepared. I promise I will get back to you!

Instead of the vinegar, add a little pickle relish. I use prepared mustard.

For a REAL taste treat, add either CURRY OR CUMIN to the above mix.

Good Luck!!!

Mix yolk with a little miricle whip, sweet pickle relish, squirt of yellow mustad, salt, pepper...put filling in a zipper bag, cut corner and pipe into the whites...sprinkle with paprika or red pepper for a kick...yum...always a hit...even for the kids

Mix yolks, heaping tbsp of mayo, heaping tsp prepared mustard, 2 tbsp vinegar. After it is mixed well spoon it into the egg white halves and lightly sprinkle with paprika.

MMMMMMMm I cant wait to try these out but have a question I dont like mustard and deviled eggs have mustard in them? OMg I never knew.

My wife gets complimants always on her deviled eggs. Mayo, sqeeze type horseradish, yellow mustard. Fill the egg halves. Sprinkle with paprika. Now let me see if I can get her to make some. In Maryland we use OLD BAY seasoning at times as well.
