Long story short we added a few adult birds to the flock not knowing proper protocol on it, and they brought in tape worms. I gave all birds in my flock Zimecterin Gold to treat them for it, and I can see them coming out.
Now my question is about deworming other animals:
We have 2 lionhead bunnies that we got Easter weekend for the kids then bought this expensive new hutch. They hated the hutch so we finally just let them free range with the hutch door open so they could go in whenever they wanted for food and water. They stopped using it all together and drink from the chicken waterers and eating layer crumble from the chicken feeders (they eat greens and grass all day long so not really worried about any nutrition difference between the feeds I'm sure they're getting whatever they need from free ranging). But since worms can be spread through poo which goes onto the grass they eat and through sharing feeders and waterers do I need to deworm my bunnies?
What would I even use?
What about my cat? He goes inside to outside as he pleases and often goes in the chicken run to drink water from their waterer even though he has his own outside. I even went and bought 2 more of the chicken waterers since I thought they liked the style of it better to keep them all separate, but they do what they want and all use all of them.
THANKS!
