Great, my dogs, an Aussie, Lab and Great Pyrenees just polished off a bag. No ill effects lol Now they are working on a 50 pound bag of Pedigree. I guess we are not so good doggie daddy and doggie mamma, cause we are not loyal to one brand only. dog food snobs we are not

Mine just finished a bag thats all my dogs eat and just bought new bag tonight. Off to check code now.

Thanks for the alert!

I remember quite a few years ago that Diamond had a problem with b*tches aborting litters. It was one of the new and improved ingredients in it. It would not stay stable over time. Cannot remember what it was. I worked for a vet at the time who had a huge show/breeding pt. base. He owned 4 clinics and so was one of the vets that helped pinpoint the problem.

I had just placed an order for Taste of the Wild which is manufactured by Diamond , the supplier called and said they had a recall and were releasing no Diamond products. Well it is back to the drawing boar since I am looking for a grain free food for my Australian Cattle Dog ***** that is pregnant. Wellness has one coming out next mnth, had to order BlueWilderness puppy for the time being which I am not that thrilled about it.

Seviesnape: Do you have a Costco near you? They have a salmon and sweet potato formula "Nature's Domain" - it's basically the same as TOTW and much cheaper. I feed all my herd (show and pets) their kirkland L&R food - I joined Costco just to get to it. Their brands are great.

Thank you so much for letting us know! My 11 yr old dachshund eats that and my mother-in-laws dog as well! Thanks so much for posting about it!

I don't have a Costco that is convenient for me to get to. I currently feed Innova Prime which is a grain free food, I have been feeding Evo but the girls don't really need that much protein. My dogs have done so well on it and they have never had a recall. When I bred Emmie I hadn't even thought about it but I really don't want to reintroduce grain into her diet. I have to say I have a huge advantage because I work as a groomer and my boss orders all my food in for me wholesale. I can't get Orijen which has a puppy formula so I will just use the bag of Blue up until wellness comes out with the core puppy food next month.
I did check that food out and it looks like a great formula !
