Did my egg bound hen just lay?

My 2 yo hen has been eggbound for a good 2 weeks now with possible other undiagnosed issues (egg drop, salpingitis, cancer?). I epsom salt bathed her, took her to the vet and have given her antibiotics and anti-inflammatory/pain meds for close to 2 weeks now, seemingly to no avail. She was in decent spirits and eating and drinking fine at first, but the last few days she seems less interested and just so uncomfortable with the giant bulge in her belly. I have been preparing myself for the worst which I was expecting to come in the next few days, but today I found what looks like her egg in the laying box. I have 2 green layers and 2 brown ones including her, and hers are slightly more pink than the other one’s. What’s hard to believe is she would lay a normal looking egg after all this (don’t worry, I will not eat it). Her belly is still very distended. I wasn’t up near the coop long enough today to say if she was in the laying box, so all I have to go on is the evidence left behind. Is it at all possible that she laid this egg, or am I deluding myself with false hope?

If she were truly eggbound, she would not have lasted for 2weeks.
Yes, it's possible for a hen that has reproductive problems to lay a normal egg.

If she's got distended abdomen, then she may have cancer, Salpingitis, EYP, etc. hard to know unless you lose her and investigate further.

Often there's not a lot you can do but offer supportive care. The medications may help for a short period of time. Hopefully she will rally and have some nice days ahead.
