i have the paste to dehorn the kids that i have and i was wondering if they are supposed to fall off when i put the past on or if is supposed to fall off within a week? if anyone has used paste on there kids and have experience could you give me some tips on it.
 
R 6 week old kids to old to use if there horns r just coming out I also have some 2 week old kids there horns or coming out faster then my 6 week old ones

Six weeks is far too old for using disbudding paste or a disbudding iron. It needs to be done when you can just feel the little horn buds beginning to develop, way before they get to the point of actually breaking through the skin. Your two weeks old kids will likely need done ASAP, though if they already break through the skin it is too late.

To give you an idea, I disbud bucklings before they are a week old. Their horns develop fast. Doelings are usually done between 1-2 weeks old. Slower to develop horn buds get a longer wait. You need to be able to feel those little bumps so you know exactly where to apply the iron or paste.

Enola, I've never used the paste, so I can't really help there. But this thread on disbudding paste use might be helpful.
