Do chicken nipples freeze up in midwest winters (Chicago)

I lived my 1st 22 yrs in Iowa. I think even FIRE froze in the winter up there

Oh wow-I didn't realize the heated dog bowls were that big. For some reason I thought they were little. That would be awful handy.

My folks have used the heated dog bowls for years, they do a great job keeping the water warm, but are very difficult to keep clean. I"m hoping that a 100watt aquarium heater (with a thermocube) does the trick in my 5gal bucket

Take em out and clean em with CLR or vinegar. Themay have calcium deposits also.
