I got these straight run chicks from tractor supply after a fox attack took 3 of our layers. The bantams are 7 weeks old, the Americaunas are 6 weeks old.
It’s been my thought since about wk3 that the cream-white bantam is a roo. Now I’m thinking my brown americauna may also be a roo, although it’s not any bigger than the cream americauna in fact she is bigger but her comb is much more pale…so I’m not sure and thought I’d ask you all to weigh in.
In any case, someone has started the most adorable little squeaky adolescent morning crow
