The rain is coming soon (tail end of Debby) and I’d love to get my roof on. Do I need to use full sheets of plywood to go under the metal roof?
I’m pretty sure I can’t manage to roof by myself with full sheets of plywood. It would be much easier to cut it up into pieces - at least half a sheet and then nail down. Since I’m going to have metal over it, does it make a difference?
I’m also trying to cut it the most financially efficient way by using all pieces. My roof is 68” down each side and 12 ft long + about 18” together for the eve overhang on each end.

The roof on my metal roofed coop just has the metal screwed to slats, so no full plywood roof under the metal, so I think it would be fine to cut those pieces in half, just have them end where they are supported by a truss for some strength.

But @2ndTink do you live in a cold climate?

Here's how to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!
