I’m just wondering if these eggs look ok and why some of them look like the one in the first picture and some look like the one in the second picture.

Note they are all moving around when I candle them and I just started hearing peeps from the incubator today.

I don't know, but I love candling eggs.

Be gentle though, moving too much might upset them...I am only guessing. I don't know anything about this.

I’m used to hatching dark eggs so I’m not used to being able to see so well inside of them but I can actually see them moving around in there. These are polish eggs.

I’m always very careful with them. 😊

I hatched a few with mother hen and I was obsess with candling them. I candling them twice a day and they changes so much after day 4/5, some of my eggs look like your photos. They turned out healthy chicks, but don't quote me on that as I don't really know about it at all. I just look, and love to see what moving and ..just love it.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

If they're all the same regarding time in incubation.. the first pic would be representative of quitters. I do not know why they (the quitters) would be moving, unless it's just from your handling of them.

The second pic looks close to hatching.

Happy hatching! :jumpy:jumpy

Thank you! I think that they are very close. I can hear them peeping now!
