Does anyone know what could be in my month old Pekin’s mouth?

It isn’t dirt and her brooder is cleaned daily. Is this a wound she could have gotten from chewing chicken wire? I couldn’t find any blood. It has a booger consistency. She seems to be eating and drinking fine. My wife took the photos and said it didn’t seem to be coming from her out of her throat but it is weird to me that it is concentrated near the back of the beak. I’m also watching her breathe with her mouth open which could be overheating but I don’t think so as she isn’t directly under a heat lamp and it’s night time.
