I ordered rooster booster in amazon.com. Some of my 4 to 5 weeks old chicks likes to eat the feathers of the other 4 to 5 week old chicks, since 1 week ago. If it stains, is it impossible to take it out? If not, what should I do to take it out? At first they are eating the small feathers. Now, I saw them eating the big feathers. I really don't want to stain so many of their feathers.

If I return it, because I don't want it, will I receive full refund, including shipping cost? I tried to cancel it about 7 hours after I ordered (Sunday) it, but it is on preparing shipment status on that time, and it is shipped about 24 hours after I tried to cancel it. =(

I have the Rooster Booster Pick No More lotion and it does stain feathers. My daughter uses it on her show bird and she has to be careful to only apply it on the comb no where else. Every time she takes her bird to a show and brings her back there is a fight in her flock (reestablishing the pecking order). I would say it helps to decrease pecking but they still peck her hen a little bit. The lotion is purpleish that's why it stains.

Thank you.

I ordered hot pick spray last month, and I don't think it stains their feathers. The color is pink, and when it is applied to my white cochin's feathers, the feathers will look pink, until it is dry. When it is dry, the color of their feathers are white. I also tried it on my mille fleur d'uccle chicks, and it is hard to recognize the pink color, even after few seconds of applying it. However, they only don't like the taste after the first application. After the second application, they eat the whole feather, even if most of the feather is wet. I tried to apply it about 1.5 feet away from my nose, and I still inhaled some. It is a good idea to wear mouth mask while spraying them, since it feels like it burns. They only like to eat the feathers of chicks that is not the same breed as them, and I seperated them after the second application. Each breed, are now on seperate coop, even the one's that don't eat feathers, since two of my barred cochins are sick. Last month, my free range adult chickens have mild to severe eye worm infestation and I don't want to free range them, since they will definitely get eye worms. Since they will be seperated for at least several weeks, then when I allow them to interact with each other again, I think that they will less likely eat the other breed's feathers.
