Does The Skin On A Duck’s Beak Grow Back?

My pet call duck was unfortunately bitten on the beak by my very jealous Peach-Faced Lovebird when she was only around 2 weeks old.

The bite was thankfully very small but left a little hole in her beak and I’m just wondering if the orange beak skin will eventually completely grow back because now at around 8 weeks old there is still a pink spot on her beak. I hope it is not a permanent scar…

Yes I will try to. It’s thankfully a very small mark so she’s fine.

It just looks like she has a red scratch on her beak and I think the skin is still missing. I hope it grows back eventually…

Probably stuck her bill under something. You could rub some vit E onto it it’s suppose to help with scaring.

My Peach Faced Lovebird bit her beak that’s how she got the injury.

Yeah, he gets very jealous… Do you think the mark will go away eventually?

Hard to say my gander punctured his bill once never figured I out how but it healed and I could never find where it was. Hopefully it will.
