Is there any reason 2 36"x24" heavy duty plastic dog kennel pans couldn't be used as poop boards for a 6 foot roost? Thanks!

I use mine on top of the dog crates (the dog crates are isolation cages), and put wood chips in them sometimes. The chickens get up there and scratch around. The pans are hard to scrape out sometimes if I don't put wood chips - the poo sticks to the plastic and my plastic is textured, which doesn't help. The chickens are always scratching the wood chips out of the pans, so I have to keep refilling them. If you put zeolite you'll have the same problem. If you put higher edges around the dog crate pans, that should work ok. But i think higher edges are needed if you put anything besides empty pans below the roost. A metal pan would be easier to scrape, depending on the metal. Is there any reason 2 36"x24" heavy duty plastic dog kennel pans couldn't be used as poop boards for a 6 foot roost? Thanks!
Could work, if they can be installed to be both easily removable for cleaning and stable when in place. Is there any reason 2 36"x24" heavy duty plastic dog kennel pans couldn't be used as poop boards for a 6 foot roost? Thanks!
