My neighbors use to have a rottweiler a long time ago like 12 years ago way before we knew them.
He rescued the dog and this dog had a really good german pedigree behind it. But the previous owner couldnt handle its size.
He weighed over 120lbs. And knew from the moment he came that their son was who he needed to protect.
One day they hooked him outside on a tree and he made a indent halfway in the tree within a hour of being outside.
They never had to hook him up again. And he always layed in front of their sons bedroom making sure he was safe

It's so satisfying. but I do not like shedding at all. I'd rather not brush and not have a shedder.
