Dog thread!šŸ¾

not denying that but the general public couldnā€™t identify their way out of a paper bag. I see so many threads on dogbook that are like ā€œpost what wrong breeds your dog has been calledā€ and itā€™s ALL BREEDS not just pits that people misidentify.
It's extra fun when 90% of people don't even know your breed exists  Yeah no, I don't have Jack Russell's, nor fox terriers and they're not mixed breeds either!

On a walk heard someone say something negative about Thor because he looks like a Pitbull šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

I understand being paranoid. I personally really like Pitbulls, but I've also only ever had good experiences with them. But I think it's pretty obvious he isn't a pitbull lol

Some people are so annoying šŸ˜‚

Im sure grooming was hard with some dogs.
Neither of ours like it. Border collie better than the corgie though. The groomer hangs them in a hammock thing with holes for legs, probably @oldhenlikesdogs knows a name for those, but then they get the job done. I take them in every spring except this last one and wished I had. They both shed immensely if we don't get that off them.

What breed/mix is Thor? Sorry if you've mentioned this before.

I never used the sling. They came out after I retired from grooming. I've read about that corgi shedding. People say aussies shed a lot, but I don't think it's that much.

@ShrekDawg has a sling to trim her dogs nails. I just put my bulldogs on the table or my husband hold them like piggies.

Thatā€™s smart lol

This was our border collie Brett. First dog my husband and I bought together. Drove up to Rhinelander to get her. She was from good stock and was a great dog. My attempts at training her for herding weren't the best, but she got the job done. Loved her brown eyes.

I would get another border collie in a heartbeat if I was guaranteed it would be similar. She was so smart, and funny, and we took her everywhere. She was a nice size, easy coat, easy going energy, and I love the border collie crook tail. I also like her minimal white. She had white on her feet which had beautiful ticking. She was so perfect, I don't know if another border collie could live up to her. Nothing but great memories. šŸ’•
