I have two Dominique birds that I am not sure if they are hens or roosters. I know the one is a roo..but I cant tell on the other..any help would be appreciated
Picture 1-This is my roo..

Picture 2-Is this a roo or a hen?

They were hatched at the end of March..so 13 or 14 weeks. Just started seeing saddle feathers on the rooster. Is the comb always different on the roo and hen? I was looking for a color difference but they look so similar

this picture of my 5 Dominiques and 1 BA was taken last year when they were just about 4 months old-they were all hatched on the same day-I did have one rooster out of the six-you see how much larger his comb and wattles are than the girls.
Differences I go by in addition to comb are the bars on feathers and appearance of legs. Note overall the cockerel appears lighter which is the result of the dark bands being narrower than light bands on each feather. Legs of cockerels are larger early on, but pullets in strains I have tend to retain the gray look to scales. Latter difference goes away since pullets and hens eventually get the yellowish legs until they get into serious laying.
