Hi everyone! I have a chick that I can’t seem to figure out exactly what he/she (hopefully she!) is. I got the chick almost 3 weeks ago now from my local TSC in the silver laced Wyandotte bin. This chick doesn’t look anything like my other SLW’s though! When I first her she almost looked like a penguin to me- all black, white chest some color on the head/ear area, and as “she” is getting older, her feathers are coming in black with a single white line down them. Also her feet have some black/grey to them but the underneath is yellow. I can try to get better, more recent pictures but she is the only one who freaks when I try to hold her! “She” is also a pretty big bully among the other ones, but is the smallest! Here are the pictures I have.

She doesn’t look barred, so not a Dominique. Can you tell what her comb type is?
I grew up with chickens, but it’s been probably 15-20 years since we had some so I’m no expert what so ever when it comes to telling comb types (or deciphering anything really). I did realize the pictures I posted didn’t show the color of her new feathers coming in, if need be I can try and get a picture of the wing spread. She is so curious but very spazzy when I pick her up, always has been!

She looks like a silver laced Wyandotte! She's got a rose comb, and the white lines coming in on her feathers is lacing :)
Thank you! I wasn’t sure since she didn’t look too much like the other two and her legs were more grey! I kept second guessing

I’m still so iffy on this breed! Here’s an updated picture of her(?) she still looks nothing like my other SLW’s! It’s really the white circles on the side of the head that are throwing me off!

Definitely SLW's :) The one that has more white on it looks like a male.
Also, are you talking about the white circle that I circled in this pic?

Because those are fuzzy chicken ears:D

Hehehe I am talking about what you circled! They’re so cute and now that I know it’s just it’s fuzzy ears it’s even cuter! Also while I have you here, I have been wondering if I have multiple roosters.. here’s some pictures of the one with more white that was in the previous post, with the one I’m 99.9% sure is a rooster just because of the darker/redder and more developed wattles. What are your thoughts? Both roo’s? They’re about 5 weeks old today!
