Dose my ducklings have a blind eye?!

Hello BYC! So I was cleaning my ducklings cage and just noticed this. It is only on one eye and doesn’t look like it’s touching the peupil. Is there a way to cure this? What could have caused this? She is a call black Swedish cross. Thanks!

I can bring her to a vet if she really needs it. My plan was to raise her and her sibling up and sell them. Dose anybody have any idea what this is?

Looks like a cataract. Nothing you can do to fix it. Probably poked it on bedding or got pecked in the eye

I had a duckling with an eye issue that looked very similar! After carefully checking to see if there was any foreign matter in the eye, I decided to wait and see what would happen. (It was one I had been planning to keep for my breeding program, so was a bit c'est la vie about it.) I was supplementing their feed with Brewer's Yeast and kelp, so upped the amount a bit. It went completely cloudy! I decided that there was nothing to be done for it and stopped worrying about it. About a month later, I was checking them over, and couldn't find my one eyed duckling. Turns out her eye had completely cleared up, and she could see perfectly I was so relieved, but also mystified! I can't help you with yours, but just sharing my story in case yours might do the same
