Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

Glad you got the skin cancer removed Jim. That's nothing to mess around with.

I'm guessing my neighbors know I'm nuts too by all the yelling I do. I just like yelling. Thankfully I think they are all nuts too, so it's equal opportunity all around.

I'm enjoying this beautiful fall day. See how far I get riding my bike into the wind. Yesterday I harvested the butternut squash and tiny pumpkins. I guess I need to move them inside tonight, along with my two pots of geraniums just in case we get a frost tonight.

@Cebarmlds , I'll wait for the others to do the puzzle work for me. :)

I lurk on this thread because I’m curious about gardening in different climates. I have to laugh at the dog poop picking being a 3 season activity!
Always wish it was year around. Winter build up can get a bit nuts with 6 dogs here, so I try to pick up as long as possible.

I saw a sign that read:
If your dog poops
Pick it up

I tried, but he was too heavy.

Trivia:
On the canary island,
there are no canaries.
On the Virgin Island,
similar results,
No canaries.

Yup, in the winter you can use a hockey stick and whack them across the road.
What sometimes ends up happening is the Australian shepherd decides they make nice toys, and they end up playing catch the poop carrier with me also in pursuit.

Priorities, the games won't wait. the work will be there tomorrow.
Lisa, what do you do with the poop when you get it away from the dogs ? do you run with it, then?
it was 31F yesterday morning. frost on everything.
we went to town and bought some wine making supplies.
have 40 pounds of blackberries to process. should yield 1o gallons.
I don't have a large steamer, so I will boil the berries to burst the skins.
my stiches are itching like crazy.
