I have no clue what is wrong. No sign of physical injury, eating out of my hand just fine, laid an egg this morning, and the rest of the flock is completely normal.

This gal though…it’s like she’s drunk or something. When she tries to stand she falls forward.

I gave her an Epsom salt soak and she’s now resting, but what could this be and how should I treat whatever it is?

PS. Trying to post a video, but it’s not letting me???

UPDATE: she is very alert. Eating and drinking water supplemented with vitamins when spoon fed. She is finally pooping again….BUT because she is wobbly it’s just smeared all over her bum. Dark blackish/green, running, extremely smelly. 🤮 she broke out of seclusion this morning and somehow wobbled down to the coop and jumped into the nesting box. Not sure if she laid because by the time I noticed she was missing I’m not sure how many eggs were already in that box. We are only short one egg…but that isn’t abnormal for my young flock.

Also….we noticed she was gone when the rest of the flock was really loud and agitated…we quickly noticed they were bullying her as she ran into the nesting boxes.

She may be having a hard time expelling and egg or material. I'd start her on Calcium Citrate+D3 asap. Give 1 tablet now, then once daily for 3-5days. TUMS will work too if you don't have Calcium Citrate.

Work on hydration, giving her electrolytes if possible. Check to make sure she's not prolapsed and look her over for lice/mites. See that her crop is emptying overnight.

Being unbalanced is concerning. It could be due to dehydration or many other things. If you have poultry vitamins, give her a direct dose and see if that helps give her a boost.
