I haven't been able to find quality Javas in years. I used to raise Black and Whites years ago. all anyone really has now is Mottled and I think that's because some of the major hatcheries carry them. I'd much rather get a quality flock of Black and White birds. When I was much younger I always wanted to cross a Blue Jersey Giant onto some Black Javas to re-create the Blue Javas that are not around anymore.

I still have Urch Black Javas. I would love to know how old that line is and if it is older or younger then the Jensen line of Black Javas.

I have been on a 4 year quest for more Black Javas ever since Garfield Farms and Chicago MSI bailed on the Javas during COVID.

I had two clans but age and unexpected predation really took its toll. If I am able to supplement my current bloodline I will do my best to make them available to folk in and around the mountain west.

Have you been able to keep your line going? I an really interested in joining the black java flock keepers. Not easy to find information. Where are you located?
