Duck Cam in the Coop.

This is great! If only you had more ducks!

These two will be out there soon. They are living in the garage until they get fully feathered. Ever since losing Poncha, Lefty has been living in her house. When the two new girls are ready, they will be moving into the coop with the camera and Lefty will go back to his house right next door.

Mine came in today! Once I have power out there we're in business! I think I'm going to go solar...

It's easy to use once you get it dialed in. My suggestion would be to get it all setup in the house before you install it in the coop. You'll know pretty quick if your WIFI signal is strong enough once you move it out there. I'm sure there have been many new styles of cameras since the one we bought but I'm sure the software should be the same. The app may cost you a few dollars but it is worth it. If you don't buy the premium app I believe the free app has numerous limitations.

Lefty was playing with his ping pong balls this morning...... (@7:20am Central time)

Heh. It's already set up in my office with port forwarding set up and viewable on my website.Wi-Fi shouldn't be a problem, I stream audio over wifi to the garden (further from the house than the coop) when I'm out there without a problem.

Interestingly, the camera has an option for ftp image/video uploading on a schedule.. so it could be used to take stills or video of nesting boxes in the early am hours.
