Duck Coop

I know this isn’t technically about chickens, but I’d assume a lot of you are familiar with ducks. I’ve got 3 very small adult mallards, and thinking of getting a fourth. They’re free roam but I’d like to make a closed shelter to keep them in at night as I have seen just about every predator imaginable come through my yard. How many square feet Is recommended? I read .5 sq meters per duck for a night shelter but most other ducks are much larger than the ones I have. I plan to put some plastic drainage tiles where the water will be, and tiles covered with straw, pine pellets, or something similar for the rest of the floor space. Any extra advice is appreciated!

Yep, but maybe they will come back, and it's never fun to have no one respond.
