Duck egg bound for 3rd time in past month

My 1 year old white layer duck has been egg bound in and off since the middle of October. Is there any way to put an end to this? She has not pooped in a week.

For clarification, do you provide supplemental calcium? My ducks always go to the oyster shell pile after they eat. How often does she get treats?

You can provide supportive care, but if it’s a continuous issue you can try reducing the amount of light she gets so she doesn’t lay, or there are hormone implants. It really depends what you want to try.

She gets soldier fly larvae pretty often if that helps but I feel as if she isn’t egg bound since I don’t feel any hard lumps
