We are 1 week from lockdown I'm trying to keep my incubator at around 60% humidity due to a side and a saddle air sack (shipped eggs, followed all the steps before incubation to try minimise it) so don't want much more increase in growth.
The incubator is set at 37.8 but I've added 2 extra thermometers/hygrometers that are showing a lower reading down to 36.1 should I average it out and increase the temp or leave alone, all duck eggs are growing and moving about Nd I don't want to make it too hot? The hygrometers are reading between 57 and 64 ( the weather isn't helping as we keep having loads of rain then red hot dry weather all in same day UK for you lol)I feel this maybe OK with me wanting to slow the air sacks down but if anyone feels I should reduce this as well any suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you xx

For next time I would up the temp to try and get a middle ground with the incubator tempt and the extra thermometer. Too low temps could have them grow but have deformities. Hope everything hatches healthy! Hatching my first ducks from the mail too! But im only on day 7.
Thank you where on day 28 waiting on external pips so fingers crossed for this evening, I hope your get on well with yours as well xx

How did it go?
We had 4 trying to hatch 1 was malpositioned and didn't manage to pip so I could help it and another one was doing so well and I was literally waiting a few more hours before intervening and helping zip and when I went back to check and turned and covered its air hole 😪 was so gutted I didn't get to it in time the other 2 hatched although I had to help one as had its foot over its head but they are growing fast and doing fab just unlucky with the other 2 was gutted I couldn't help them in time. They're growing sooo fast xx

Aw, I'm sorry to hear you lost the two. I'm glad you had two hatch though! They're sooo cute.
