Khaki Campbells are the best pure bred laying duck. But I think a few breeds would be better than one breed.

I think golden cascades would hold their own.

Also welsh harlequin are just khaki Campbell with a color mutation, and lay very well

Metzers
Sand hill preservation

Its the last year for holderread ducklings and their birds are internationaly recognised. Down side is they do not come sexed.

I would also suggest Ideal. They breed for egg laying.
