So, I have noticed my male Runner ducks head bob quite often, which I read is a sign of them being flirty/happy. However, in the videos I've seen of ducks head bobbing, it's repetitive. My guys only do it once, then go back to normal? I've noticed they sometimes do it in sync too. Is this normal head bobbing, happy behaviour or am I looking at something else?

I have Runners and they do it but so do my Call Ducks. And it's not just the males. It's some form of greeting mating behavior, I think. I know they do it in the water and again after they are out of the water LOL

I wasn't actually sure if it was normal because they only do one over-exaggerated head dip. Their necks go far down, then back up again in one swift motion, whereas in the videos I've seen of other ducks, their heads seem to just bounce repeatedly! I'm glad this is just how runners headbob :D
