Duck killed another duck

Your duck was definitely NOT killed by your other duck based off of those pictures. Toxins and some infections (particularly toxins) can exhibit the symptoms of bleeding from the eyes and nares at death. Based off of the fact that your others are acting normal, I would say that he ate something that was toxic.

Any ideas on what kind of toxin/infection would cause this kind of event? Especially if orally ingested I’ll want to make sure it was nothing the other ducks can access…I haven’t seen any odd metal or plants they can eat.

And if this happened 5 days ago would I have seen symptoms in the other birds by now?
