Duck hut design questions

I saw this on FB marketplace today advertised as a 'duck house'. Is this the 'right way' to design a duck house, e.g. on skids, two rooms? Would it make sense to construct a few of these, to house 50 ducks and 20 geese?

Hey guys and gals, the only thing I can afford to do right now today is make 2-3 cages out of treated lumber and hardware cloth. Would a cage of the dimensions 12' long by 4' wide by 2' tall, half way submerged in the pond, be ok for 10-12 ducks?

My understanding is that a rule like four square feet per bird is a bare minimum for an enclosed space, such as you might put them into for safety at night while sleeping. I also think that that rule does not scale very well, there will be so much poop, I don't see how that can remain hygienic.

Do you plan to put them away each night into these little pens? They won't go on their own, door will need to be locked.

What about preventing predators digging?

Earlier in the thread I saw the comment about 70 birds, I may not be the best person to speak to a larger flock like that. We have 3 ducks, and there is a good amount of maintenance to keep things clean and safe, just as it is with this number. We have a 24 sq ft hutch that we put them in at night, and a covered run/pen that is 450 sq ft, has a 80 sq ft pool. We will add a few more birds soon.

Hi. May I please share *today's* idea for feedback? How does this sound:
650' (4 rolls) of Premier electric netting 48" tall
2 duck huts (sheds with no floor) approx 12' long by 6' wide by 5' tall (the red rectangles in the image).
My thinking is that the electric fences at $600 will be less expensive than a woven wire fence with tposts and gate ($1900) which leaves funds for the duck huts; will save 30-40 hrs of installation work; and are moveable, since it's a big impact on the property.
Also thinking if there are two huts then social groups ducks geese have more options.
How does this sound?
