Hello everyone,

So yesterday i noticed one of my Pekins was limping fairly badly. I brought her in, gave her an Epsom salt bath for a while to get her foot cleaned to inspect it. I noticed these small black spots on her foot.

I'm not sure if it's bumblefoot, as I haven't noticed any swelling. If it was, I was prepared to cut out the infection and treat with betadine and Neosporin. But since it didn't seem that bad yet, I thought opening up a wound may cause more harm than good.

I also didn't notice anything major like a break, at least nothing very noticeable.

I've attached some pictures of both the hurt foot, and her other, healthy, foot. Her left foot is the hurt one, though its on the right side in the pics since shes upside down lol

Please let me know if you think its bumblefoot or not. Either way, I'd like some advice on what you all may suggest as far as treatment.

I should mention that she's currently seperated in a different coop so she can rest.

hard to say. is the skin underneath the brown spots hard at all? Maybe a minor case of footpad dermatitis but I'm not sure
Not really. I didn't notice anything very different between the normal skin and the area with spots.

I'll have to follow up and check again tomorrow. She'll be on rest until then.
