Is there any type of duck that is not as fertile as the others? When we bought our Rouen drakes.. they said something about exhibition Rouens?

A Muscovy cross duck is sterile.

Just wondering.. I want to hatch some in the spring.. I didn’t know what they meant by exhibition. Lol. Idk maybe I shouldn’t use google as much as I do. Lol

I think I know what it is...Exhibition Rouens usually have deep keels, which makes it hard for them to mate. They mate best in water, and unless they have plenty of swimming water, they have low fertility rates.

Due to their large keel, exhibition Rouens don't breed well.

Your rouens must be production Rouens or a crossbreed, then.
