Duck shoes? Where can I find duck shoes!!

So I have two ducks and they both have bumble foot, I’m going to treat their feet really soon. But I was doing research and was told once you treat it you need to but shoes on them. And I can’t find anywhere to get shoes, if anyone has a place I can buy them from i would love your help. Unfortunately I don’t have a whole lot of money to spent so I’m looking for reasonably price shoes for ducks

The duck shoes help but with all the experience I have had with bumblefoot, the thing that worked for me the best are duck foot shapes cut out of pool noodles and evened out so it's flat.

They act like platforms and keep the foot further from water, waterproof so they dry out fast and cushions the foot as it heals. I just place the cut out pool noodle shape under their foot and use vet wrap to secure it to the foot and ankle and keep dirty from getting in. I change the bandage every day and apply ointment to the area after a epsom salt soak.

I noticed the healing time and chances of healing were slot better with this method. Too much pressure on the affected area can just make it come back.

Genius. I am going to try it. With the shoes you cant keep them on all the time....and not in the pool. This way you still have to change them....but its cheaper.

I can’t get the booties in time for when I need them plus I have a large flock and several ducks to treat. We’re using these as shown in pics. They are rubber dog booties kind of like a big rubber balloon. They come in different sizes and we’re like 20$ for a 12 pack (instead of 25-40$ per pair of duck booties). We wrapped the ankle with waterproof tape and led the poor girls claw out for balance. Been on since last night and so far no issues and they can walk just fine (underneath is gauze with ointment wrapped in vet wrap) we used size medium and these are our Silver Appleyard girls so their feet are pretty big and they worked ok

Hello! How have these ended up working for you? Do you leave them on all day and night, or do you remove them for a while so the foot can breathe? Have you found any issues with your duck being sensitive to rubber? Do they keep the duck’s foot totally dry? Do you think they would be waterproof enough to use while the duck swims in a pool if waterproof tape was used at the top? Do you cut a hole for the back claw? I realize that would render the boot non-waterproof. Do you cut off the top band or leave it? I noticed that you still wrap the foot before putting it in the boot. How, and why?

Sorry for so many questions, but this could be the answer for OUR situation. I’m thinking about running to grab some, as I can get them locally. But I’d feel better hearing your experience first. Thank you so much! I appreciate your time very much.

I found these were OK if you used them for short periods of time. leavign them on too long doesnt let their feet or the scabs breathe to heal so we found they were ok as long as we were taking them off for awhile each day and separating them. booties also didnt work , in the end we used pool noodles and vet wrap
