We've been using Manna Pro Hydro-Hen (https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/manna-pro-hydro-hen-8-oz-1030209-1312768) for our mallards. They are 4 weeks old now and it's time to buy more. Someone in the store also mentioned 'Nutri-Drench Poultry' and 'Sav-A-Chick Electrolyte & Vitamin Supplement', but I didn't know what the differences were, or if one is slightly better for ducks instead of chickens. The salesperson we spoke to at the time didn't have much information on the other products. Does anyone have a preference regarding these 3?

Is there a reason why you have them on vitamins/electrolytes? There really only needed during times of stress, both are good brands.

Actually, no. Tractor Supply just recommended them when we bought them, so we've been using it in their water every couple days. I thought they were basic probiotics and vitamins that would just be generally helpful. Are they not meant to be used that way?

If they are being fed a complete nutritional diet, and appear to be healthy, there would be no need to supplement with electrolytes/vitamins.

I NEED HELP!! I just got 2 ducklings from Tractor Supply and I need to know if I can use the flock leader water supplement in their water.. its for my chickens though?
This is a very old post and not likely to be looked at. Creating a new post would likely work better for you - please introduce yourself in the New Members forum if you haven't already. :)
Why are you using Flockleader for your chickens? And why would you have ducklings in the same pen as your chickens?

:welcome does it have niacin in it if so how much your ducklings need 10mg each daily for strong legs. You would do better giving your ducklings Nutritional Yeast mixed into their feed, 1 Tablespoon to each cup of feed.
