Duckling hurt in chicken fight

As the tile says, I have more bad luck.

I have a mother chicken that hatched three duck eggs that she stole. Today they we're walking around the yard eating under their mother when one of the broody hens rushed off her nest and went over to starting to grab and pull one of the ducklings. The mama hen lost it and begun fighting with her. After I managed to round up the ducklings and get the mama I was able to see that one of the ducklings has a serious injury to its beak. I got it to stop bleeding and I just need to know what I can do for it so far it is still eating and drinking.

I would apply triple antibiotic ointment (without pain relief in it) at least twice daily.
When she eats/drinks is anything spilling out of the damaged area?

She's eating and drinking. I lost her brother tho. He had no visible injuries. I took her and her sister away from the Momma chicken and into recovery pin I use for bigger chicks. They're doing well so far. I've been keeping a very close eye on them.
