Duckling identification...

Looks like you have white or fawn and white runners! You will love them! They are super entertaining to watch, they are great foragers and great for pests if you keep a garden. They are a smaller breed with means slightly smaller mess! They are also very friendly and sweet. Congratulations on your babies!

Today's pictures. All the little feathers coming in. Starting to look awkward teenager. They still stand upright, but just as much time spent low and centered. Is there another way to decipher if they are runner ducks.

How are your TSC babies doing? Have you been able to figure out what they are yet? Mine are starting to show some beautiful colors and markings now that they are a little older.

Hey Mama_Owl_3 the pics I posted yesterday were taken just before I posted them. Their heads are still really yellow but the body feathers coming are white. They will be four weeks old in 2 days and not a drop of tan, brown, buff or even purple coming in on these 2. (I know there are no purple ducks) I'm thinking they might just stay white. Yours are very pretty, do you know what you got or are they mystery ducks?

I posted a new thread with several recent pictures of them. Several people think that they are Saxony. So far I think I agree with them after looking up the Duck id threads in the Sticky topics. If that is what my babies are going to be, I am perfectly okay with that. Saxony ducks are gorgeous!
