I've got a duckling who is almost fully feathered who has trouble walking and a pale beak. Video below. She also doesn't stretch her neck out. She hasn't gotten as large as her partner I got with her and her feathers took a lot longer to come in on her stomach. I got her on Valentine's Day. It's been over a month and I gave her brewers yeast and Durvet Vitamin B complex. She's gotten more niacin I've ever given any duckling with a niacin deficiency and not even a little improvement. I know how to treat niacin deficiency and there's been absolutely no improvement in over a month at this point. This is my second time posting and the first all the answers were about niacin and I really really need to know what else it could be. At this point I don't want advice about niacin but would like suggestions about what else could it be so I can be trying something else before she gets too old and if its fixable I can try to fix it? I have no aviary vets and the local dog/cat vet will not accept her. The nearest vet would be a long drive and charge insane prices just to see her. Thanks for helping if you can.

Maybe iron? You just have to be careful because birds can get toxic with iron quickly. Our pekin was attacked by a bobcat and is still a bit pale so our vet suggested a children's liquid multivitamin. It has helped but she wasn't acting off in any way, just pale beak and feet. Hoping for healing quickly!

She sits way back when she walks so it could be a hip injury or a deformity. Maybe another stepped on her when she was younger. I’d say it’s too late to fix at this point. Your biggest issue will be as she gains weight and puts more pressure on her legs they may give out. This could be causing an issue with circulation making her beak pale.

She will adjust to her disability.
