Ducks Voice Is Quite

I have a 1 year old Khaki Campbell who has seemingly lost her “voice” over the past few days. She is usually a very loud and vocal; however, her quacks have been very muted and quite over the past 2-3 days. It was noticed one morning when letting her out of her pen for the day. No additional symptoms and we checked her throat for any obstructions.

Any guidance or thoughts help, we are in an area no nearby Avian or farm vets.

I wonder if she may have eaten something that scratched her throat, bug or plant we have stinging nettles here and I can see where it would cause the throat to be scratchy.

Check if gape worms are found in your area. If so, watch for other symptoms of it.
