Duckwing Leghorns

Hello,
since I received such good and positive feedback and advice on my inbreeding and line breeding post,I figured I would post again on this subject which I have plans for.
I had plans to start a breeding program a few years back,but life gets in the way and now I've recently purchased and moved into a property that facilitates my overall plans I will get to my question. I hope the title of the post catches the eyes of the same good people and others to help point me in the right direction.
I'm planning to create a line of Golden-and/or- Silver Duckwing Leghorns.
I've seen pics and video from overseas stock and they look magnificent.Would like to have them here in the States.
I've spoken to a very, very small group of people that are breeding these already here in the U.S. and from what I've been told have been breeding true. Most of them are keeping their cards close to their chests;the only solid piece of information I've been able to confirm is that they started with a Silver Leghorn cock x a Light Brown Leghorn hen.From that point on,it was cull or keep,depending on what they're looking for.
Any suggestions on getting started in this endeavour would be greatly appreciated!

What are you calling "golden" leghorns?
Many call a duckwing rooster that carries both silver and gold "golden". That's what you'll get crossing silver duckwing with light brown leghorns. They won't breed true since the roosters will carry both silver and gold so you'll get a mix of silvers, golds or silver/gold.
Hens can only be one or the other either silver or gold. The project will be a dead end from the start.
I know the "goldens" from oversees and agree there is very limited info on them. I've heard both ways that they do breed true and that they won't so IDK.
Also heard they are partridge instead of duckwing. I agree they are beautiful birds but IDK their exact genetics and have never heard of anyone over hear that breeds them. Like said most that talk about goldens are just referring to silver/gold mixes.
Would love to hear any info or ideas you have on them though.

This is what I'm talking about. I've read some literature from the U.K. where it was described that there was an extensive breeding program whereas quite a few varieties were used including the English duckwing game to create the Duckwing Leghorn,
