Dumb fowl

do you think it’s wise to try feed her over there? Forget the trap idea. I hope if she survives this she learned a lesson about leaving home. I have a feeling if I captured her she will be back up there. She is very wary of things you probably wouldn’t get her in there. It took her forever with my shed
You can try feeding it.

I unintentionally caught many of mine in a live trap simply because it was beside a fence they would run back and forth along whenever they got out.

Nugget was too busy being studly and walked right into one when we had them out for raccoons. Goodness, you'd have thought he was being tortured, and ever so happy when I pulled him out.

I couldn't figure out why mine were being skittish all of the sudden when I came in. I wear the same jacket and boots everytime, same gloves...🤔 Then I realized, my regular glasses have been bothering me so I've been wearing my other pair. From this side, you don't really notice the transition lenses. From their view, Mama suddenly has very big, dark eyes.:gig

lol. And yes this really happened. It was very hot last summer and I had a stray cat around here. Ellie was drinking water and the cat came over and pushed her out of the way and drank. She looked at me then then the cat astonished. She was very lucky. I would not want to mess with her talons and beak.
