Chirping
It was warm today, so these little raptors were turned out into their outside home away from their increasingly crowded chickenette containment zone - and they loved it.
The rescue hens (Dumplin and Darlin) were not only unimpressed, they actively avoided the dino enclosure in order to screech at the top of their lungs whenever I tried to “introduce” them.
The seven babies spent most of their time taking “dust baths” while scraping and throwing up small clumps of grass. If they’d have just moved over a bit, there was a divot of dirt that I’d poured dust into for their bathing pleasure.
Oh, well. Better luck next time, my pretties!
