I have had horses my whole live and we have a family farm and breed German and Welsh ponys
I have one 28 inch mini and am starting to use him as a therapy pony. I would like to get a few more
to start going to the nursing homes here.
Thanks for the help

THis is a really old thread and it is likely the original poster will not check back. It would probably be worth it to start a new thread. Craigslist, local horse shows, and ad boards at TSC and feed stores can also be good places to start.

Hi,
I know it is a late reply, however, if you know or have any dwarf horses for sale please let me know. We have quite a few and I always worry people think they are cute and not understand how much care they truly need.
Many thanks.

This is Leo a chocolate dwarf pinto. He is looking for a forever home. Asking 300.00 for adoption fee and I am willing to travel half way to meet you for the cost of gas... I have traveled several states and they are very easy to transport in an enclosed dog carrier in back of pick up or even in a van or SUV. He is a nice little guy with no health issues and his hooves are in good shape. Experienced horse owners only please! He will need regular hoof trimmings and health care. thanks, Judy

No slammers please! If you know about dwarves you will understand they do look different than a horse in a miniature form... They tend to have short legs, pot bellies and a big head...... You love them despite their faults..... This picture taken in summer and he is now wearing a shaggy winter coat. They shed out wonderfully in the Spring.. UPDATE he is sold.... I have others so please contact me if interested....
