I appreciate this thread! Any chance my EE Georgina is a pullet? About 8 weeks old. Definitely one of the top in the flock and pretty sassy, but also loves to jump up and sit with me and is one of my most affectionate chicks.

There's a chance, but those rust colored spots on the shoulders and the comb is making me lean towards it being a cockerel. Cockerels are usually the friendliest and most personable chicks.I appreciate this thread! Any chance my EE Georgina is a pullet? About 8 weeks old. And, this is a cockerel. Not just because of the comb and the red patches on the shoulders, but because he has dramatic flashy coloring and patterning coming in. Pullet coloring and patterning is usually more even and uniform.I appreciate this thread! Any chance my EE Georgina is a pullet? About 8 weeks old. No, sorry, that's a cockerel.I got this EE from a local breeder over the summer, and was told (and paid more) for a pullet. It was born in May - and has woken us up every morning this week crowing. We’re in an area that strictly enforces no roosters. Any hope this is a confused hen? ThanksView attachment 3992028View attachment 3992029
