Have anyone ever seen an Easter Egger with a crest it was sold as ameracauna but I was expecting and Easter Egger anyway it was only a 10$ rooster sold at a yard sale but I would like to know is it okay to breed him for blue eggs. He does have the pea comb and muffs so I’m sure he has the gene but idk what he was mixed with that has a cres

He has a modified pea comb. He'd show barring if he had Cream Legbar in him. Very likely has Ameraucana in him. Hard telling what the breeding behind him is for sure. If you breed him to blue egg laying Easter Eggers you'll likely get more of the same.
Interesting, will any CCL show barring if crossed? I kind of assumed it would be similar to other sexlinks where you'll get barred males if you cross a solid male onto one, but non-barred if the other way around. But like I said, I'm no expert on the blue egg layers, they're interesting.

All Cream Legbar cross males will show barring. If you cross a solid male "other than white" over a Legbar female then the female offspring will not get the barring. Barred males pass it on to all offspring, barred females only pass it on to their sons.

Okay so I should be fine crossing him? he is smaller than an normal Easter Egger I’ll say weight wise but I’m gonna pick up some Easter Eggers from tractor supply and hope they have straight run. I do have a large Easter Egger hens that lays XL blue eggs I’m gonna put eggs under a broody and hope for the best.
