I moved a few times since then. Never been in Maine though.

Sadly I left my flock and all my incubators behind. Seeking to pick the hobby back up ASAP, though I will have to relinquish my beloved Chantecler project as it is well nigh impossible to source those now.

BC Heck where to start. Recently moved out of California. Not before getting another disc fused in my neck and a few other surgeries.

Banty I also left my flock with friends in California. Really miss the White Cornish and I haven’t seen the quality that I had with them since.

CC I too need to fix my walking mode of transportation. A valve needs replaced not sure of the timing on that yet but I’ll be down for a while with this. I’m hoping to be proactive with this surgery and it not be an ER trip.

All in all life is very good. No complaints. Perhaps I’ll get back to making pens some day.

Yep it’s hard to lose all those years of work. Did you get chickens again where you ended up?

No not possible here. If anything I can get quail maybe. I’ll have to move again to be able to have chickens and that probably won’t be happening. I’m a city mouse for now.

Same here. I briefly considered having quail on the balcony but my landlord shot that down in a hurry.

it must have been a long time. so long that I do not remember joining this thread.
I gave up all livestock a few years ago.
my biggest accomplishment was developing an all white flock of guinies. it took a few years.
