May have to try that. The only problem I see is a chick could get it’s leg wrapped up in the mesh

That's how I always did it. However, I bought a bundle of 100 mesh shrimp bags (unused). Brand new bags, never a problem. I called them pedigree bags.

I use lingerie bags. They can be found at Dollar ($1.25 now) Tree.

That was my thought too, but They were asked that and they have never had an issue

I made "chick jails" with strawberry containers, but it does take up more room.
