EE mix Roo or Hen?

Hi there! I've raised a few batches of chicks over the past 10 years. I have not raised any EEs yet but inherited a couple of adults in the past. My daughter recently hatched one from a friend with a flock of EE's and other breeds. So, I'm not sure exactly what breed this one is. He or she is 3 months old and no crowing. The feathers look like a rooster, but the no crowing and lack of three lines on the comb have me confused.

That’s a cockerel. He’s got a walnut comb, which is why it doesn’t have the three lines that a pea comb would. His feather pattern is male-specific, and his comb is super red.

Yes, I believe so. The "beard" on the sides of his head is what makes me think he is an EE.

Yes I do. He’s likely got some Wyandotte in him, but he’s definitely an Easter Egger of sorts.
