Egg is chirping should I help?

I should have helped when it was chirping...the baby chick was dead..Two more eggs still under my broody hen...we will see what happens...

I'm so sorry it was dead. Sometimes it just a hard call to make, wether to help it out or not.

Yes, its a hard call to make..because they DO normally chirp before hatching...
so..its hard to know when to help...

The best thing you can do during a hatch is go away and come back the next day.

Hard to do I know but it's true. Worst case is that you will make the broody abandon the nest and without a warmed up incubator you have spelled doom for all the eggs.

The hen is not leaving the nest she just went broody a week ago and this is the second time she has gone broody! She wont leave the nest even if i take all her eggs away and make her get down. My friend went and purchased an incubator today so I hope he hatches me a RIR Rooster!
