Egg laying brown eggs

I have 6 sapphire gem chickens only 3 of them are laying right now. 1 lays a brown egg with white dots all over it. So pretty 1 lays a solid brown egg. Another one lays a pale brown? Is this normal for it to be a pale color? It has been slightly darker but not by much.. I'm not sure who's laying it just yet.

Every bird will lay a different hue. It's normal.

When I had Rhode Island Reds there were always shades of brown from almost red to almost white.

And the later in the season, generally the lighter the eggs. When first start laying in the year, after their bodies have worked out the pullet egg "kinks", then "ink jets" are full. Later in the season, generally the "ink jets" are mostly depleted.

At least that's what it's been for me. Most noticeable in blue egg layers, but also in brown egg layers.
