I have two white Leghorns and three olive eggers, all the same age and just starting to lay six months old. I’ve noticed that their eggs are small except for one olive Egger, which leaves slightly larger eggs. . Is it common for newly laying hens to produce smaller eggs, and can I expect their egg size to increase as it continue to lay? Any insights would be appreciated

Yes, new layers will lay small eggs for the first few weeks. You may also discover some odd eggs in the beginning. After they get into the groove of their laying cycle the eggs will be larger and more normal.
